Below are a few important notes regarding the upcoming month of March.  Please take the time to read through the newsletter in its entirety and let us know if you have any questions!

1) TUITION:  Tuition was charged today, Monday, March 2nd.  You do not need to do anything for this unless you received an email saying that your tuition could not be processed.

2) TWO ABSENCE RULE:  As in the past, our “two absence rule” will apply to this year’s Spring Production for Tiny Tot classes, Levels 1-8, as well as Fast Track.  Since we are starting dances this week, we will start keeping track of attendance as of today Monday, March 2nd. This means that your dancer is allowed to miss two classes (per class they are enrolled in) from this week until the show.  We will be closed the week of March 16-21 for Spring Break, so that gives us 10 weeks to set the dances (before Dress Rehearsal on Saturday, May 16th).  We know things come up but it is extremely important to have your dancers in class when choreography is being set, as it makes it much easier on the teacher when everyone is present, so please do your best to have your dancers in class.  These absences should be used for vacation, sickness, etc. If you know your dancer is going to need to miss more than two classes between March and May, please email info@contemporarydanceacademy.com.

3) CLOSED FOR SPRING BREAK:  This is a friendly reminder that CDA will be closed for Spring Break Sunday, March 15th through Sunday March 22nd.  Classes will resume on their regular schedule Monday, March 23rd!  Please note that according to our policies online, we do not discount tuition for this week, as we do not charge extra for the weeks that have 5 classes.

4) SUMMER INTENSIVE INFO:  We can’t believe it is already time to be thinking about the summer, but we are hoping to have registration for our summer classes and camps open by the end of March!  We are finalizing some dates and staff, but will email out soon when we have the schedule and information set, so be sure to keep an eye out for that! All classes and camps are first come first serve and they do fill up fast, so if your dancer is looking for a fun way to stay active and moving this summer, be sure to get your spot before they fill up!
