We hope you are all staying warm and cozy on this Snow Day!  And can you believe it is already November?!  This semester and year have flown by and we are already gearing up for Nutcracker and the Holidays!  We will be sending out a separate “Nutcracker Newsletter” with information on ticket on sale dates, sponsor packets, etc. so be looking for that as well if your dancer is participating in the production!  Please be sure to read through the entire newsletter and let us know if you have any questions!

1) TUITION:

Tuition will be processed on Friday, November 1^st.  You do not need to do anything for this unless you received an email saying that your tuition could not be processed.  If you need to update your payment information, please do so by visiting your online account at: https://contemporarydanceacademy.com/manage-account/.  Please note: A $10 late fee will be added to your account if tuition is not received by the 5th day of each month.

2) PERFORMANCE TEAM FUNDRAISER:

NOW IS THE TIME TO CLEAN OUT ALL OF THOSE OLD DANCE CLOTHES!  Please come support the CDA Performance Team and get a bargain on things you already need for your dancer!  We will be holding a gently used dance wear “SIDEWALK SALE” outside the Green Studio on Saturday, November 9th!  Starting next week, we will have a box up front for your dancers to donate their old leotards, shoes, skirts, etc. (please no tights)!  Please make sure everything has been washed and is truly “gently used”.  Then on November 9th, come on by for discounted gear!  All proceeds will go toward competition costs for the team members who participate.  Details below:

3) BALLET CLASS PARENT OBSERVATION WEEK:

Mark your calendars for the week of November 18^th-23^rd!  During this time, parents will have the opportunity to observe all Ballet classes (no Jazz, Hip Hop, Tiny Tots or Tap until the Spring Semester), and get a sneak peak of your dancers class work as well as their Nutcracker dance.  During these observations we will hand out Nutcracker info, posters, etc. so if a parent is available, we would love to have you there!

4) THANKSGIVING BREAK:

The studio will be closed for Thanksgiving Break Monday, November 25^th to Sunday, December 1^st.  Classes will resume to their regular schedule on Monday, December 2^nd.  We do not charge extra for the weeks that have more than 4 classes, so tuition will not be pro rated for the month of November.

5) SPRING PRODUCTION DATES:

We have been getting some emails regarding what our dates are for our Spring Productions (thanks to all of those who plan ahead).  Unfortunately, Lincoln Center still only had Memorial Day Weekend for our main show. So our dates will be the following:

1. May 22-23 – Levels 1-8 and Fast Track
2. May 30 – Tiny Tots and Performance Team
